Butchering is one of those few occupations that crosses the boundaries between being a trade, a skill, and an art.
Traditionally there were in the days of olde, butcher’s shops in the main streets of every town. With the advent of supermarkets, the friendly neighbourhood butcher is harder to find.
We’ve brought the family butcher back into the High Street in Westbury, Wiltshire, to make fresh cuts of local meat available to you and your table. Our butcher’s shop has fast become any foodie’s essential stop for high quality locally sourced beef, pork, lamb, and chicken at prices that won’t break the bank.
We also have fresh produce and groceries on offer, so pop in and let us help you put together your perfect platter. If you’re not sure what you fancy, we’re full of ideas and always willing to share a recipe or two. We’re here to make buying meat into a highlight of your week.
If you’re pushed for time and can’t get in to see us in person, you can make use of our delivery service.
If you have specific requirements, give us a ring to let us know what you need, email your order or contact us through the Facebook messenger app.
You can opt for a delivery of one of our popular value mixed meat boxes, or if you need something for a special occasion, we can take you through what is best seasonally, and suitable for what you need. We can source game that is in season, too, if you’re out to impress family or friends with your culinary skills.
We don’t charge for deliveries if you are within a 10-mile radius of our butcher’s shop, and your order is worth £30 or more. Deliveries are made every Thursday and Friday (11am to 2pm) and Saturdays (10am to 1pm).
When you order, we prefer talking to you in person – not just because we like chatting to customers, but so that you can ask us any questions you may have and discuss any special requirements.
The local hospitality industry in the Westbury area depends on us to provide them with meat of a high standard from local producers.
We supply the key ingredients for many local events and memorable meals out, from Sunday roasts and barbecues to wedding buffets and mobile burger vans.
We can arrange pick up or delivery of your catering orders when you need it. Just chat to us and we’ll make sure you get the goods safely and promptly – either as a one-off or a regular order.
You can contact us, or visit the butcher’s shop, at any time during our business hours, which cover seven days a week. Opening hours for Butcher Bros are Monday 9am to 3pm; Tuesday to Friday 9am to 5pm; Saturday 8am to 4pm; Sunday 10am to 2pm.
